On 9 November City U11s played their second tournament of the year. There were four teams: Tigers 1, Tigers 2, Phoenix and City. All teams played each other twice in 7-minute long matches. All City U11s played enthusiastically, with good movement and strong attacks.
We had two wins, three draws and one loss. City came second overall, only one point behind the winners Tigers 1.
Team: Simone, Steph, Masha (2), Henry (1), Alex (4). A special mention goes to Steph who scored a goal – her first ever in a tournament! – the wrong way but managed to hide her disappointment and continued playing. As we learned after the game, the goal was very charitably not counted by the ref.
